Another New Year (Chinese New Year, Bali)

Another new year here in Bali, Indonesia. After the Lebaran, New Year for Moslem and the ofcourse the New Year for all of us, and then the last New Year is Chinese new year based on Lunar date.

For this Chinese New Year i celebrate it in Bali with my family (i work in Jakarta). Today in the Chinese New Year eve, i go to Kuta Klenteng. In this event Chinese usually gather with their family, for those that working in other city or study in other city they all will come back and meet their big family. Have dinner and pray together hoping for better future.

The best part in Bali is, every Chinese New Year Celebration i see Chinese tradition and Balinese tradition mixed with no problem, people just get along dont care who is chinese and who is balinese. Hope in the future we can see more thing like this, and hopefully in this Dragon Year, we all be happy...

My Fav. Youtube Channel (Business and Game Channel)

I do addicted to Youtube video, every day my hands always typing www.youtube.com in the address bar. If there is no fun video to watch, i will close my youtube page, and then come back again a view minute later. Same thing was happen with facebook when it just published, but with youtube i dont think i can get bored there is so many content i can get and most of it is fun.

The kind of video that i watch in youtube is game review, technology, development and traveling video. With youtube it like having someone reading the content of a book and all you have to do is listen and watch, awesome...

Pemikiran untuk 2012

Akhirnya tahun 2011 pun berakhir, dan sudah 1 tahun sy di Jakarta. pada 2010 lalu tanpa terencana saya masuk ke dalam dunia telekomunikasi, bekerja dengan tekanan tinggi dan multitasking dan sudah 1 tahun saya lalui. Sambil berusaha mengembangkan startup impian (letsgotobali.net). Lalu apa selanjutnya? itu yang saya pikirkan di penghujung tahun...

2012, beruntung di akhir tahun 2011 saya mendapatkan informasi mengenai lowongan kerja baru di perusahaan telekomunikasi Indonesia; semoga bisa berhasil masuk dengan gaji dan lingkungan kerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang sekarang :D
Jadi harapan saya di 2012 ini tentu gaji yang lebih baik dan tentunya kondisi keuangan yang lebih mapan. Maksudnya mapan adalah, cukup untuk membayar kos, mengirim uang untuk orang tua, kebutuhan sehari - hari dan tabungan masa depan... yang tentunya membutuhkan usaha dan kerja keras lebih, semangatttt!!!

Letsgotobali.net; saya mempunyai projek yang sudah berjalan sejak agustus 2010, suatu web mengenai bali yang saya sebut "event portal" karena saya berencana membuatnya menjadi pusat informasi event - event yang berlangsung di Bali. Tidak hanya untuk wisatawan, tapi juga untuk orang lokal di Bali. Tujuan saya membangun ini adalh untuk memperkenalkan event-event yang berlangsung di Bali kepada semua orang, karena banyak kegiatan yang menurut saya sangat bagus dan menyenangkan, namun banyak orang - orang lokal atau domestik yang tidak mengetahui mengenai event tersebut. Sangat disayangkan...
Di tahun 2012 ini saya berusaha untuk menyelesaikan aplikasi berbasis event yang akan berjalan bersama blog letsgotobali.net, calon developernya sudah ketemu dan doakan saja semoga tidak ada hambatan dalam pengembangan. Mungkin di pertengahan 2012 sudah bisa beta testing dan di akhir tahun mulai berjalan penuh :D
Tapi tidak hanya itu, setelah berhasil membuat saya masih harus memikirkan bagaimana dengan bagian marketingnya, bagaimana menarik orang untuk menggunakan aplikasi di letsgotobali dan membuat orang - orang berkunjung... banyak sekali yang harus dipikirkan... mencari freelance penulis, freelance programmer dan masih banyak lagi... semangatttt!!!

Kesehatan, bagian ini yang paling penting dibandingkan dengan lainnya dan yang paling sulit dijalankan. Rajin sebentar, malas lagi...rajin sebentar, malas lagi untuk berolah raga :( semoga di 2012 ini bisa rutin berolah raga; atau kembali berlatih Aikido :D semangatttt!!!

Can Introverts Lead? (A youtube video)

Saya baru saja menonton video di youtube yang membahas mengenai penelitian, apakah orang yang Introvert dapat menjadi seorang pemimpin? untuk saya untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin tidak terpengaruh apakah orang tersebut introvert atau extrovert, yang penting orang tersebut mau belajar...

Mau belajar untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan, beradaptasi dengan pekerjaan, belajar segala hal yang dibutuhkan untuk maju; maka orang tersebut dapat menjadi pemimpin :D

Misalnya saja dalam video tersebut dikatakan, dari hasil survey jika pemimpinnya introvert dan bawahannya adalah orang - orang yang proaktif maka teamnya dapat menjadi team yang sukses. Jika seorang pemimpin yang extrovert menjadi pemimpin dengan bawahan yang proaktif biasanya tidak sukses (karena bosnya banyak bicara, anak buahnya banyak bicara juga^^). Jadi menurut saya tidak masalah apakah bosnya introvert atau extrovert, tapi seorang pemimpin/bos harus dapat melihat kondisi/situasi dan beradaptasi... dan satu lagi, FOKUS pada target/tujuan...
